I just installed F32 Mate on a ThinkPad E595 and everything worked out of the box. The only hitch is that the xorg-x11-drv-amdgpu driver is not installed by default. My kid thinks it's a great update over the T420. I've found that ThinkPads, going back to at least the A20, run Fedora or CentOS quite well. Self-intro: I'm a progremmer and former sysadmin who's been running Linux since RH 7.1 (and Solaris, SunOS, and VMS before that). I build RPMs at work to make life easier for me and the sysadmins. I follow this list to know what's coming in future Fedora releases.
