That would still have 2 of the 3 listed benefits. The remaining benefit is
arguable (is optical media a corner case? there are no corners on DVD).
It's not a bad idea. I'd still prefer to drop optical media criterion completely, but your proposal is better than nothing, should mine be rejected.
