Will the version 4 clients (bodhi-client package currently at 4.1.0 on my
machine) work with Bodhi 5?

So in theory that should work :-), but it seems that some have experienced some problem (https://github.com/fedora-infra/bodhi/issues/3708) so please try it and report any problem you have :-)
