It looks like the newer pyside is now in
https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2019-2a4f82aa58
perhaps try and get the author of that update to edit it and remove the
new one and add the one you want?

Nothing needs Pyside2 yet, I wonder if I should just let that one go to stable and then try to push mine again?
