This build failure (at least the one in the logs posted here) is due to 
broken dependencies in OpenCV at the time of the build and not freemedforms' 
fault at all.

I don't see why you want to explicitly retire the package on such a short 
notice (1 week) instead of letting the regular processes take care of it.

If you want somebody else to pick up the package, please orphan it rather 
than retiring it, so people at least get 6 weeks to fix it (or, since it 
also FTBFS, the time frame left in the FTBFS process, whichever is shorter, 
but this is an F31 FTBFS, so the 6 weeks from the orphaning process will be 
the shorter deadline).

We already have retirement processes with pretty short deadlines. Please do 
not explicitly retire packages even sooner, at least not without a good 
reason to do so. An FTBFS due to a broken buildroot is no such reason.
