sent by notifications (as opposed to bodhi) yet...

So only counting the ones from bodhi, how many would be acceptable?
2? update was created, update was pushed to the buildroot?
Or do we want just one: "update was pushed to the buildroot"?

Well this was a package that didn't have CI enabled at all
so it's not clear any of them are very useful.

I think we may want to keep the one informing that CI failed (if/when it does),
which is not in the list of 5 you've mentioned.

Sure if the package has CI enabled then telling me when it
fails is obviously useful.
