 No ... the quick answer to a lot of similar questions is if it's not
in the current set of package scriptlets from the default image or
@server-product-environment then AFAIK nobody's thought about how to do
it another way.

 It will still be technically possible to use scriptlets, if we need to
workaround upgrade problems in the future, however I'd assume the long
term goal would be that enough packages wouldn't that we wouldn't need
to do workarounds like the above.
