We need to claim more packages.
I want to add the following to wiki:
Adding a package to the SIG by a memeber
----------------------------------------
Since packages are always "owned" by users and never groups, in order to save a
package from being retired, the member must claim it via a relneg ticket for
themselves. Once they are main admin, they add the @stewardship-sig group as
admin as well.
Optionally, a bugzilla primary contact can be changed to @stewardship-sig in
fedora-scm-requests.
Adding a package to the SIG by a non-member
-------------------------------------------
TBD.
Right. I didn't realize that groups couldn't be primary admins, which makes this all more complicated than it needs to be.
On a related topic, wasn't the orphan retirement process supposed to be amended, so that packages that still have co-maintainers will be assigned to one of those instead of being retired directly?
This would mean that @stewardship-sig could be admin for orphan packages, without them being retired after some time.
