Frankly speaking, that's close to I am using Fedora: All I'd need is a CD sufficiently equipped to perform a "basic upgrade/install" and to launch a "yum/apt network install". Once the "network install" is up, it doesn't matter much in which repository on the net the packages are located. Ralf
