Hello folks,
since https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/EnablingPythonGeneratorsByDefault
was approved by FESCo, I've went ahead and turned it ON.
You'd need:
* python-rpm-generators-7-1.fc30
* python-rpm-macros-3-41.fc30
Notes for usage:
* If it adds some dependency you don't need — please patch setup.py or
whatever is adding dependency for you, DO NOT disable dependency
generator.
* If dependency is in egg-info/dist-info/etc., but doesn't appear in
your package — file a bug against python-rpm-generators and CC me.
Meanwhile add dependency manually.
* If, for some reason it breaks build of the package — please report a
bug and use %{?python_disable_dependency_generator}.
Thanks for your time and let's make packages better!

Please update the packaging guidelines properly.
https://pagure.io/packaging-committee/c/370c2462a5d30a3cdb25ccd0b9af4c89683c3735?branch=master
This only works half way.
The guidelines still say:
-----------
This generator will most likely be enabled by default in the future. If
a packager wishes to explicitly opt out of the generator because the
upstream metadata are not applicable, a packager MUST NOT assume that
the generator won’t be used simply because it is not enabled explicitly.
Rather, they SHOULD opt out explicitly by adding:
%{?python_disable_dependency_generator}
-----------
This needs rephrasing with the change you've made.
I'd prefer if this was done via pull request.
