I for one would love to see ACE and TAO in Fedora Extras.
Info for the uninitiated: ACE is a *very* versatile C++ wrapper framework. It has platform wrappers for threads, networking, loggin and everything you could possibly think of. Think of ACE as glib on steroids. TAO is a very complete CORBA implementation with C++ bindings build upon ACE.
I've submitted the ACE+TAO source rpm in the QA queue per the directions and requirements in the Wiki.
I'd appreciate feedback/guidance; I'm a little unsure what is supposed to happens next ...
Would it help for me to QA check other submitted packages? Am I qualified to do this? How do I tell which packages are most important to do next?
Many thanks in advance ...
Ken
