Info for the uninitiated: ACE is a *very* versatile C++ wrapper framework. It has platform wrappers for threads, networking, loggin and everything you could possibly think of. Think of ACE as glib on steroids. TAO is a very complete CORBA implementation with C++ bindings build upon ACE. -- jules
