I think that error message is probably correct. Tilde expansion is a shell feature, and shouldn't be expected to work if the pathname isn't processed by a shell. Unless Fedpkg promises shell-like expansion features, that pathname truly is invalid. I don't know why you didn't have this problem earlier. Perhaps it worked by accident before because a shell was invoked somewhere in the process? Björn Persson
