That seems fine, but compat-freerdp12 should've been named freerdp1.2,
according to current naming guidelines:

Please rename it before pushing to stable.
Ah, I missed that guidelines. I would need a re-review of it.
Would you mind doing the re-review of freerdp1.2? Considering it has just been done there should be nothing wrong.
Also in Fedora there are plenty of those with a compat-* prefix:
