Dear Fedora developers,

My name is Xavier and I would like to introduce myself. I am French and
I work in a computing center at CEA, near Paris. I am 35 years old and I
work as a system administrator of supercomputers since 12 years. I use
Fedora since its first release and all the machines in our computing
center are based on RedHat-like distribution (EL or CentOS).

Among others, I currently maintain the Modules-Tcl software. This
software is part of the Environment Modules project
(http://modules.sourceforge.net/) which provides for the dynamic
modification of a user's environment via modulefiles.

Typically users initialize their environment when they log in by setting
environment information for every application they will reference during
the session. The Environment Modules package is a tool that simplify
shell initialization and lets users easily modify their environment
during the session with modulefiles.

This Environment Modules project has two sides. A C version, well known
and already part of the Fedora distribution through the
"environment-modules" package. And a native Tcl version, Modules-Tcl,
which is a full rewrite of the C version that handles same kind of
modulefiles and command-line syntax. The C version does not evolve much
in the last years whereas Modules-Tcl is in an active development state
(fixes, new features, etc).

So I would like to apply as package maintainer in the Fedora project in
order to provide and maintain a package for Modules-Tcl. My review
request for this package can be found at:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1431952

I am looking forward being sponsored and having Modules-Tcl part of
Fedora. :)

Best regards,
Xavier
