Just another piece of information which may be relevant for anyone interested in taking care of the package: It looks like the project was pretty active until Feb 11, 2016, but there are no commits after that. I don't know if you've tried building the latest git version or only the latest development release. As an update would bring major changes, a re-review would probably a good idea anyway.
