Try with "rpm -i".

It packages don't conflit you can install multiple packages with the
same name.
This is done with the kernel package :
[fmatias@one i386]$ rpm -q kernel
kernel-2.6.10-1.736_FC3.mat.1
kernel-2.6.10-1.750_FC3.mat.1
