The first two points are necessary but not sufficient at least for people with varying internet connexions (laptops). Ideally, you'd want to configure it per internet interface. Specifically, this is typically the thng I do not want while being connected thought a smartphone (even more when abroad). So not only a first time configuration, but also an easy way to disable it.... Your third point seems crucial. Theo.
