Once upon a time, I wanted more RPM macros from SUSE to use in Fedora
packages, but at least the ones needed for desktop apps are mostly all
just workarounds for lack of file triggers, and we have those now.
%changelog still seems really useful, though. spec files get difficult
to work when when the changelog constitutes 95% of the file. Why are
you opposed to having this macro?
