I think the network install mode of anaconda that is already there serves a similar enough purpose for anyone who wants to use a network as part of the install process. And don't forget about the much maligned mininal install option. A more advanced one CD bootstrap that gives you a usable desktop is a tough target to meet. I don't want to see the rescue environment being ditched to make room for a 1 CD desktop install.
