To build the help documentation of OOo2 you require a working java, so
I've been working on making OOo and gcj play together well enough to do
that, and support a handful of the optional java components. The gcj
patches for OOo were approved up-stream on friday. There was a little
problem in libgcj which should be resolved soon enough

and then we should be able to push a OOo2 alpha/beta in parallel with
the OOo1.1 similiar to gcc4/gcc reasonably soon.
