Beat to the punch. The newest (cvs) version of Yum is looking even nicer
from the endusers perspective (cleaned up all that repomd.xml and other
extra lines of repeating strings) . And the speeds that they are gettng
by experiementing with sqlite patchs are very impressive.

I think i might be in for the long haul and i suggest that you read
through their recent devel archives for some useful information on the
current situation and nearterm plans.
