Just curious on this: In most cases, a spec can be defined such that a proper URL can be put in place of "Source:" such that a build system could download the tarball from the upstream source. However, there are a number of source packages in the distribution where Redhat is the upstream provider for that software. Is there currently a location where the source tarball can be downloaded? Or does the source RPM constitute the official release? Maybe this is something a build system should handle: SRPM URLs in the Source: tag. thanks, -- -jeff
