rpm macros only get used if they work on the oldest OS release the
maintainer cares about.  If you want the spec to build on rhel6 you
can't use autosetup; or, you can, but you have to hide it behind %if
and then _also_ do it the other way in the %else, so why bother since
it doesn't make anything cleaner.

In other words: %autosetup may get used in 2025 when we finally forget why it was invented. Unless it got stripped from RHEL set of rpm macros.
