RE: what is the latest kernel in FC20?

Hi,

You should edit the yum debug level  (/etc/yum.conf) and provide your yum log, instead of saying “cannot install”, “refuse my effort” etc.

“Wait and see” is not a good attitude to solve a problem. Bashing a question onto others and not giving out enough information is also not preferable.

PS. Sorry to use top posting, I’m currently on  a miserable MS system.

The basic issue is I have a kernel and headers no longer available. So, I try to upgrade but yum refuses my efforts. Never mind,  I will wait and it will  be solved one way or another.

i don't get why that offended response

* yum clean all && yum upgrade to get the newest packages
* you need "kernel-devel" and not only "kernel-headers"
* in doubt https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=8

you post user questions to the devel-list
that one is better suited and that's not offending
