Pushing out-of-sync updates to EPEL stable: Problematic?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

There was a recent flurry of updates to the new freecad package, with one Bodhi update including updates to OCE and smesh [1].

A following update to freecad was pushed to stable before the previous one, which contained the OCE update, was pushed, as a user reported [2].

Clearly, the OCE and smesh updates need to be pushed to stable. Will it cause problems that the obsolete freecad package is part of the same update? Of course I hope that the current freecad, with a newer package revision, would 'win' and the obsolete freecad would be dropped from the update, but I don't want any surprises.

Thanks-

	John
