Hi, I am wondering if someone is interested in picking up the maintainance of SOAPpy in Fedora. The upstream we were following [1] is dead for a while. There are some forks that seems to be moving forward but one would have to check which fork to go with [2, 3, 4, ...]. In addition SOAPpy has currently two CVE bugs opened (#1094619, #1094620), for which I do not know if any of the new upstreams has a fix or not. Finally depend on SOAPpy: $ repoquery --whatrequires SOAPpy python-twisted-web-0:12.2.0-3.fc20.x86_64 pytrainer-0:1.9.1-5.fc20.noarch Upstream of python-twisted suggested to drop SOAPpy as a dependency (and possibly drop the module as well) [5], so only pytrainer might be problematic. So if anyone is willing to maintain this package properly I will happily give it a new home, otherwise I will orphan it and let it be retire with the F21 branching. Thanks, Pierre [1] http://pywebsvcs.sourceforge.net [2] https://github.com/kiorky/SOAPpy (which is the version published on pypi, https://pypi.python.org/pypi/SOAPpy) [3] https://github.com/pelletier/SOAPpy [4] https://github.com/jeffkit/SOAPpy [5] https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1094619#c6
