doxygen directory reference files

doxygen (at least for some packages) is creating files like:

_builddir_build_BUILD_torque-3.0.4_src_drmaa_src_.3

that have contents like:

.TH "src Directory Reference" 3 "Fri Aug 16 2013" "Version 3.0.4" "torque" \" -*- nroff -*-
.ad l
.nh
.SH NAME
src Directory Reference \-

.SS "Files"
....


A number of packages are shipping them (see below). Is there some way to prevent them from being built?
