If I'm honest, I couldn't get F18 Anaconda to install to the partition I wanted either :S I have multiple Linux OS partitions (Fedora 18, Rawhide, Ubuntu), and one big home directory partition, and I wanted Anaconda to replace one of them. Eventually I gave up, installed F18 to a VM, and then used rsync + restorecon + grub2-mkconfig (!) to get it into the partition I wanted.
