Yes, I heard a lot of good things about Twinkle, but its UI was always 
too ugly for me to sustain. I was trying Ekiga as well (even worked with 
jkratoch on some bugs), but I had always better experience with 
linphone.

Of course, now I am also on HW Polycom and it Just Works™.
