I am currently working on bringing OpenMAX support to the PandaBoard platform and have so far been successfully in my initial tests and builds (http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=4724781). Having OpenMAX on this platform would be a big step ahead in enhancing the audio support for this platform.
