Eric (the DragonEgg packager) expressed the interest in getting a more recent LLVM in EPEL 6 as well; seeing as it's not a core component yet, I'd probably do that as soon as the soname versioning is fixed, unless there's any objection. The only feature that has to be disabled is the LLVMgold linker.
