I'm trying to get sponsored as a package maintainer and would like to introduce myself. I've been doing some level of build/deployment automation for different companies over the last few years, and one thing that makes life harder than it should is lack of native packages for any given dependency.
As such, I've decided to try and contribute packages where I find one is missing. For starters this will be perl modules, but I can think of a couple libraries which I'd like to add later on once I understand the process a bit better.
