It really seems to be depcheck bug, because I was able to install speed-dreams from f17 x86_64 updates-testing just fine.
Sorry for misinformation.
Since I filed the bug at the wrong place, it was (rightfully) removed.
It now lives in https://fedorahosted.org/autoqa/ticket/431
