I'd like to take ownership of “maradns” package. It is a small DNS

ago. In pkgdb I was able only to take F16 branch. What should I do
to get F18, too?

If a package is marked depreciated, you need to submit it for review
again. Once it passes review you get the newer branches and can ask
rel-eng to unblock it.

It's been abandoned by upstream and is known to have DNS implementation
issues. I'd strongly recommend you switch DNS software.
