Because this case rise on packages which has Requires dependencies a
buildroot override is the prefer method. 

After you have built all packages you can create one update which contains
all packages which should be updated at the same time. Thiw should help you
to avoid a broken dependency situation for the end user when they try
to run an update.

Thiw topic was discused on the list for a couple of weeks.
