As far as 3rd party Java rpms are concerned, these are fairly OK, but
they still bundle few other java libraries (for example jortho) so
packages can't be simply "added" to Fedora repositories.

They have to go through package review process just like any other new
packages and this will likely be more complicated than "copy the spec
and build the package". 

Still just looking at runtime dependencies, it shouldn't be *that* hard
to package it. However I am more than fine with the way hannes has been
taking care of Freemind in Fedora and don't need Freeplane myself so it
would have to be done by someone else. I'd be willing to help with
initial mentoring of potential packager though :-)
