I suppose it might be interesting to see if grub2-efi works any
better...

I suspect 'yum install plymouth' may help with that.

In F16, dracut required plymouth, and dracut is in @core, so plymouth
got pulled into any install. In F17, dracut doesn't require plymouth any
more, and this is desired. So for Alpha I stuck plymouth into comps, but
I only put it into @base, not @core. Minimal installations don't install
@base, they install @core. If you do a text mode installation, you get a
minimal install, hence no plymouth.

I'm not entirely sure what we want to do about this for Beta - whether
we want to put plymouth in @core, or what.
