Hi, I'm Jean-Eudes Onfray, I work as contractor for an small ISP. I'm the sysadmin for the whole platform, all Fedora (~ 30 servers). Some of my job is also developing internal apps (C++, Perl, PHP, Java). I started using Red Hat Linux/Fedora in 1997 and working with since 1999. I'd like to become co-maintainer for libkml. I contacted Rakesh Pandit (maintainer) and he suggested me to do so if I could help. I updated all outdated patches and sent the whole to this bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=540307 You can find the latest spec & srpm here: http://je.onfray.fr/dl/libkml.spec http://je.onfray.fr/dl/libkml-1.2.0-1.fc16.src.rpm I'd also like to see OpenCPN packaged in Fedora: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=612224 I'm part of the upstream team and I already build Fedora packages there. Seeing it included in Fedora would be much easier for our users. I'll prepare updated spec & srpm and report asap. Feel free to comment.
