Sorry I can't resist saying that changing hostname automatically after
boot is *always* a bad idea and is not correct.

It should never happen by default, possibly not without mandatory manual
oversight, and if automatic behavior is really badly wanted for some
obscure reason it should be an option an admin must enable explicitly.

IMO. I really do not want to start a flame, but this hostname problem
(and related /etc/hosts issues through our RHL/Fedora history) is
something that I hate since forever.

Please feel free to ignore this OT and go on with the discussion :)
