FYI, Gentoo already went to libpng 1.5 and so have patches floating around
for a lot of stuff that breaks. A lot of the issues I found when rebuilding
against 1.5 was the hardcoding in libtool files rather than any source code
issues, which means they have to rebuilt in the right order (e.g. a high-level
GNOME package doesn't build because one of its dependencies hasn't been rebuilt
and it still has the old -lpng12 hardcoded).

We already fixed IcedTea/OpenJDK to work with libpng 1.5 as a result
of Gentoo's work, and those packages should already be in Fedora.
