No need for user to know or care about units or numbers or DPI, same as web authors needlessly fixated on pixels instead of the fact that personal computers are expected to be personalized, which means desktop objects larger or smaller than as shipped from the vendor. DPI is nothing but a way to describe pixel density, and users shouldn't care about numbers, only higher or lower, good or not good, better or not better.
