Well, a patch may be needed to disable the usage of the bundled code in 
makefiles and such. But yes, the actual removal of the bundled code should 
be done by a rm -rf in %prep and not by a patch bundling yet another copy of 
the huge library with prepended - signs. ;-) The patch should not contain 
file or directory removals.
