Well, I've been doing this since F13, but not having to deal with it in
non-@minimal installs as well would be nice :) .

I'd be up for helping with this (package review, testing, maybe some
porting of applications such as dmenu and other simpler ones). I'd like
to see if I can get session management and persistent applications at
every level of my setup :) .

The Haskell SIG[1] plans on getting GHC 7.0 in F15 (feature page[2])
which has LLVM support, a new I/O manager, type-checker, and a parallel
garbage collector.
