Nautilus appears not to be starting on login for me; I need to start
it manually via 'nautilus --no-default-window&'. BZ'ed here:

I installed gsettings, then the new nautilus. Now when I log in nautilus doesn't start. It will start from the command line and stay running, but the next time I log in I have to start it again.
The (closed) bug reports mention cleaning the nautilus cache, but googling doesn't give me anything to do that. (I deleted the thumbnails file, but the problem persists)
Any suggestions?
