Let me jump in just to say that I'm not a developer/packager, but it
was my intention to become a contributor for Fedora.
What scared me was just the huge level of bureaucracy.
Submitting patches to the kernel 10 years ago was actually
simpler than packaging a trivial rpm for Fedora is today.

This is why I decided to not by a packager.
I just try to help guys on the lists and open bugs (often
ignored, I must add).
