So your reposynced respository is bad.  Have you tried removing the
files and resyncing?  My copy is fine:

mirror:/data/mirror/pub/fedora/linux/updates/12/x86_64$ rpm --checksig kdeartwork-4.4.1-1.fc12.x86_64.rpm 
kdeartwork-4.4.1-1.fc12.x86_64.rpm: rsa sha1 (md5) pgp md5 OK

Please stop repeatedly casting aspersions with no evidence, when it
appears that the problem may be on your own end.
