Hello,
I need to package ndiswrapper (from ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net) for Fedora Core 2. I'm planning to follow the Fedora.us packaging guidelines as I'd like to see the package included in Fedora Extras at some point. ( Also, they seem like fairly sensible guidelines. )
I've found these kernel-module specific guidelines from the Fedora.us wiki. They are pretty interesting, however, according to the author, they are also outdated and possibly not relevant to 2.6 kernels.

Does anyone have any feedback or suggestions on how packaging kernel modules should work with Fedora Core 2?
Cheers,
Aaron Bennett
