Sure making the life harder for our users "just deal with conflicts"
is the way to go...
If there are issues with multilib (there are!) we should work on
fixing them instead of making the user experience even worse.

(if you want a "pure 64 bit system" that is what you get by _DEFAULT_
anyway, so no flamewars about that please.)
