Without details of the problem its hard to say, though 3.1 does have an alternative file locking implementation grafted on, so if the problem was file-locking related, 3.1 might fix your problem. Though it does matter of course how you're working over samba, whether mounted as a filesystem or through gio/gvfs. i.e. it might even be nothing to do really with OOo, but something else in the stack and it won't matter what version of OOo is used. > So are there plans to update f10 OpenOffice to 3.1?
